Introduction
Respecting and protecting customer privacy is vital to our business. Keeping customer information secure is a priority at CashCall’s mortgage division, and we want you to be aware of our intended collection and disclosure of your personal information. This privacy policy explains how we will handle your information, and how we will use it to serve you better. The provisions of this policy will apply to former and current customers, consumers and visitors to our Internet web site, unless we state otherwise. This policy also applies to customers who use our call center to provide personal information. If you provide us nonpublic personal information you may opt out of our sharing information with non-affiliated companies. Please see the Opt Out Notice section at the end of this policy.

Confidentiality and Security/With Whom Do We Share Your Information
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to (i) those employees who need to know your information to provide services to you, (ii) third party entities and financial service providers that deliver services to us (such as consumer credit reporting agencies), (iii) to any entity necessary to effect, administer or enforce a transaction that you have requested or authorized, and (iv) nonaffiliated marketing partners. Please note that if your loan is approved and completed, or if we purchase your loan from another lender, your loan may be serviced by a third party other than CashCall (for example, the service provider might assist in collecting payments or provide other customer and accounting services). We will require that any third party servicing a loan held by us, or that assists us in underwriting or originating a loan, will comply with our privacy policy. However, pursuant to laws, regulations, or business transactions, your information may be transferred to other third parties (such as purchasers of loans or regulatory agencies), and we cannot control how that third party may handle your information. Furthermore, in the event that we transfer your loan to a third party and we also transfer the servicing of that loan, then this privacy policy will only apply to the information regarding you that we retain, and is not binding on the purchaser of the loan and their servicer. Please check the privacy policy of any third party that originated your loan or services your loan to understand how your information may be handled by them.

Information We May Collect
CashCall mortgage division gathers the customer information that is needed to administer its business, provide services to our customers, and to complete your transactions. The categories of nonpublic personal information that may be collected about you include:
Information we receive from you on loan applications, registration forms for electronic payment or ACH transactions, or other forms (such as your name, address, phone number, or Social Security Number);
Information about your transactions with us (such as account activity, payment history, or account balance); and
Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency (such as your creditworthiness or credit history).

When you visit our web site, even if you are not yet a customer, we may nonetheless collect and store information about your visit in our systems or the systems of our service providers. INTERNET SECURITY DISCLOSURE
We have implemented a commercially recognized high level of security for transmitting personal information via the Internet. We utilize Secured Sockets Layer protocol (SSL 3.0) and Microsoft's Private Communication Technology protocol (PCT 1.0) with full support for 128-bit encryption methods. As of the effective date of this privacy policy, these secured encryption methods are preferred by the industry for online commerce and transactions on the Internet. Also, the Internet Web Server is protected by a firewall which restricts access from unauthorized or unrecognized sources coming from the Internet.

Our encryption technology, as well as our Web site’s security in general, is certified periodically by VeriSign for online authentication services. This provides you with the reassurance that our internet security system conforms to the industry standards.

These encryption protocols are used in several areas during the Internet Loan Application process:
At the loan application web page when the applicant is entering their personal information.
For internal validation/verification processes.
When you are executing and submitting your online promissory note.
During ALL communications between our Internet server and our host processing system.

Notice of changes.
We reserve the right to alter our privacy policy from time to time. Our customers will receive written or e-mail notifications of these changes. Former customers or persons visiting this website that are not customers at the time of the visit will not receive direct notices. Any alterations to the privacy policy will be posted on our web site in a timely manner and persons who are not CashCall customers must refer back here periodically to learn the privacy policy applicable at that time. The effective date of this policy, stated above, indicates the last time this policy was revised or materially changed. Checking the effective date allows you to determine whether there have been changes since the last time you reviewed the policy.

California Residents
If you are a California resident, you have the right to receive: a) information identifying any third party company(ies) to whom we may have disclosed, within the past calendar year, personal information pertaining to you and your family for the company's provision of services or marketing purposes; and b) a description of the categories of personal information disclosed. To obtain such information you must make a request in writing. Your request must include your name registration (email address), the site name you visited and a return address or it will not be processed.
